When you receive our sweet potatoes products, the most concern are : Why the leaf turn yellow, or why it getting burned, rotten or wilted.
It is so dissapointed to see the products like this, it seems not worth your money! We understand your thought.
First of all, We are happy to replace another one if our products are not good quality.
Actually we have tried our best to give you the fresh cuttings, strong and mature to grow. We also soak them in the water with Vitamin B1 to keep them strong and fresh.
But after 2-4 days of shipping and delivery, the plant was in the poor condition, it is normal that the leaf and young part to be wilted or rotten, especially the unrooted cuttings, its leaf are easily to be wilted, turn yellow or rotten.
We did notice about these issue in the description on Etsy.
But as long as the body and stem look fresh, sweet potatoes still alive.
Just please try to follow these instruction , you will see how amazing they will recover and grow up after 1-2 weeks:
For the cutting you may need to do follow 6 steps:
Cut all the rotten or burned leaf
Cut the wilted young parts
3. Soak in the water 2-3 days
4.Prepare good soil
5. Grow them outdoor (if the weather is over 55 F) or in the pot and placing inside near the window.
7. Cover them, let them in the part sun in 2 weeks, water 1 time daily
For the pot with strong roots:
Cut all the yellow or burned leaf. No need to cut the young part
Water 1 time daily, place in the tempurature room.
They will recover soon, fresh and good looking after 3-5 hours.
Please transplant them to the bigger pot or grow them in your garden with good compost soil.
